Dr. Stanley Leong is Chief of Cutaneous Oncology and Associate Director of the Melanoma Program, Center for Melanoma Research and Treatment at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He is also Senior Scientist at California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute and Professor Emeritus of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Leong is board certified in surgery and is a nationally recognized expert in melanoma. He specializes in selective sentinel lymph node dissections, and immunotherapy for patients with advanced melanoma.
Dr. Leong has lectured nationally and internationally on new advances in the treatment of malignant melanoma and the use of selective sentinel lymphadenectomy. He is the founder and President of the Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation and has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and invited reviews.
